Request a buyback assessment for your industrial equipment
The more precise your list (part numbers, quantities, condition), the faster and more accurate our preliminary estimate will be. You can attach an Excel file, a CMMS export or photos of labels.
We analyze your request and get back to you quickly with an initial buyback estimate and terms suited to your situation.
Industrial equipment buyback
Get value from your equipment, reduce your waste and contribute to industrial reuse.
REI Industry specializes in buying back industrial equipment and in the reuse of electronic and automation equipment. Do you have unused equipment from a retrofit, a production line dismantling or an oversized safety stock? We buy back your PLCs, drives, modules, motors, HMIs and other components to refurbish them (Level 1 & 2) in France and give them a second life.
With our industrial equipment buyback service, you turn your dormant stock into value, reduce your waste and take concrete part in the circular economy in industry. This solution also frees up space on your premises and gives new value to your unused equipment.
The benefits for your company
- Get value from your dormant stock and turn tied-up assets into available cash.
- Reduce your waste and your environmental impact through the reuse of industrial equipment.
- Free up space in your stores, electrical cabinets and workshops.
- Give a second life to equipment that can still be reused or refurbished.
Fill in the form below or send us your equipment list. Our teams will get back to you with a preliminary buyback estimate and support you in your reuse project.
Why choose REI Industry to buy back your industrial equipment?
Our expertise allows us to assess many types of equipment and volumes. We review their condition, their part numbers and their reuse potential.

Dormant stock buyback and equipment valuation
We offer industrial stock buyback for companies that want to:
- Reduce a maintenance safety stock that has become oversized,
- Get value from equipment following a retrofit or the modernization of production lines and machines,
- Free up space in their stores and electrical cabinets,
- Turn tied-up assets into available cash.
A CSR-driven industrial equipment reuse solution
Our industrial equipment buyback service is fully aligned with a CSR and circular economy approach. Rather than scrapping equipment that is still usable, you:
- Promote the reuse of refurbished industrial equipment,
- Limit waste production and the need for new raw materials, all with a zero-landfill guarantee,
- Reduce the carbon footprint linked to manufacturing new equipment.
Buyback operations can be highlighted in your CSR reports and environmental commitments. They also help you integrate reuse into the management of your industrial equipment.

Our industrial equipment buyback process in 5 steps

1 - Send us your equipment list
Send us a list that is as detailed as possible, including:
- Product part numbers and descriptions,
- Available quantities per part number,
- Brand and condition (new, used, removed, possibly out of order).
The list can be sent as an Excel file, a CMMS export or photos of the labels. This information allows us to quickly identify the part numbers concerned.
2 - Analysis and preliminary estimate of your industrial equipment
Our specialized teams analyze your stock to produce a preliminary industrial equipment buyback estimate:
- Review of the market value of the part numbers,
- Assessment of condition and refurbishment potential,
- Consideration of current demand for these product ranges,
- Industrial deconstruction and dismantling study.
We get back to you with an overall buyback offer and/or a detailed offer per part number.
3 - Collection or shipping arrangements
Once the preliminary estimate has been approved, we organize the collection logistics for your industrial equipment:
- On-site collection for large volumes,
- Shipping by carrier with labels provided,
- Drop-off at our premises by appointment, depending on the case.
Together, we define the most suitable packaging (pallets, crates, boxes) and any site access constraints.
4 - Receipt, inspection and batch validation
When your equipment arrives at our workshops, we inspect it:
- Verification that part numbers and quantities match,
- Visual and functional inspection where possible,
- Equipment classification (refurbishable, for parts, unusable).
This step allows us to confirm or adjust the industrial equipment buyback offer.
5 - Validation and payment
Once the batch has been validated, we send you a detailed summary of the equipment taken back. We then make payment according to the agreed terms (bank transfer, credit note, etc.).
What happens to your industrial equipment after buyback?
Industrial equipment bought back by REI Industry enters our reuse chain:
- Testing, cleaning and refurbishment in our workshops,
- Made available to other manufacturers through a stock of refurbished parts,
- Dismantling and material recovery for non-reusable part numbers.
Your industrial equipment does not end up in a landfill. It helps keep installations running and extends the service life of equipment. Refurbished products then come with a 1-year warranty.
Typical industrial equipment buyback cases
- Dismantling of a line or workshop, with buyback of PLCs, drives, motor modules and HMIs,
- Industrial deconstruction,
- Retrofit or modernization project involving the replacement of a complete range of programmable logic controllers,
- Retrofit or modernization project involving the replacement of a complete range of programmable logic controllers,
- Closure of an industrial site requiring fast valuation of the spare parts store.
These operations may involve just a few items or large volumes of equipment.
